The loss of a beloved pet can leave a profound emptiness, and finding meaningful ways to honor their memory becomes paramount. In 2019, when our family dog passed away, I personally experienced this void and recognized the need for comprehensive and professional aftercare services. Over the next two years, I dedicated myself to developing Petatree, drawing insights from my work with pet owners, veterinarians, and industry experts. Petatree now stands as a culmination of this journey, providing pet owners with a complete and compassionate aftercare experience.

Our Mission
At Petatree our mission is to provide our clients with a compassionate journey through the pet loss and after care experience. We believe in the long lost art of listening, so we can navigate pet owners using the appropriate steps that ensure a customized plan. The first conversation with every client starts with “While there are many choices for you to be aware of as we proceed, its your journey – Petatree is here to provide you with your options and respect your choices”.
Our Values
Petatree’s values of compassion and respect start with our clients and continue to include nature and the environment. We provide a Natural Living Memorial to commorate the life of your pet and to celebrate its’ next stage in the cycle of life, as a tree. Using a natural organic compound to activate the ashes of your pet, we mix it with conditioned soil and plant the tree of your choice in our fully compostable planter. As the tree grows in the planter, its roots draw upon nutrients which have been released from the ashes into the soil which is why we can proudly declare that “Petatree transforms the ashes of your pet into the life of a tree” creating a beautiful living memorial that lasts another life time”.
